Cafe Neu Romance was the Worlds first Robot Performing Arts Festival

Cafe Neu Romance was the First Robot Performing Arts Festival in the World. In 2017, during the preparation of the 6th edition of the event, the main organiser decided to close it.

The objective of the festival was to heighten the public's interest in robots and robotics, by inviting them to Cafe Neu Romance, and let them participate in different activities, like events, lectures, workshops and exhibition. Cafe Neu Romance seeked to create a new educational approach to the intersection between robotics and performing arts, and had a focus on the creation of cosy and sustainable robotics solutions.

Cafe Neu Romance took place in Prague, Europe's finest city of robot culture. It was organized by Vive Les Robots!, a Danish "robot" marketing and event firm that seeks to promote robots from a culture-historical perspective, viewed from many "robot" positions in the community.
