"Exploration within the realms of robotic
dresses; a spider dress gave birth. Happy parents, fashiontech
designer Anouk Wipprecht and software
developer / hacker Daniel Schatzmayr, invite you to explore the
little creature at the openings evening. Equipped with an
microcontroller heartbeat and sensing it's surroundings, the
prototype of this mechanic dress will be presented with the aim to
give more power and 'psychological thrills' to the sugar sweet
character that performative wearables often have."

Discover a real robotic dress performance during the opening
of the Cafe Neu Romance festival on November 26th at Galerie NTK.
Spider dress is designed by Dutch fashiontech designer Anouk
Wipprecht and Austrian software programmer and hacker Daniel
Schatzmayr. On November 27 you can hear more about the Spider dress
in the evening at 9:30pm.
