Mimoks is a small company who create robotics and art projects. It is founded by Federico Delafosse from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Some of the builded robots are the Mimoks dog and a robot which made a trip to stratosphere inside a capsule for a scientific/artisitic university project to take temperature samples and move a flag.

But the main and only commercial product of Mimoks are the small USB robotic creatures. These robots have a very unique aesthetics. The bodies are made using electronic components and most of these parts have real electronic functions, all the models are USB too. The robots are interactive, they react on sounds, enviroment light level and objects proximity, and they move their bodies, produce some sounds, and change eyes colours and facial expressions. They have a small microcontroller brain that makes them behave in different ways, they can be angry, be asleep, can surprise, be relax, be attentive. M1, M2 and M3 are the first models of these type of robots and there are new models to come.
