CNR 2014: Competitions: Tour the Stairs: The LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Tour 2014: General info
All kinds of mobile autonomous LEGO MINDSTORMS robots can participate. The maximum width x length of the robot is 30 x 50 cm.
The robot shall be constructed and programmed in a way that it will not damage the area around and at the stairs, and it should be easy to stop if the worse case happens. The participants are responsible for that their robots keeps these conditions.
Task description for Tour the Stairs:
The LEGO MINDSTORMS Tour 2014
In the first competition this year the goal is to create a robot,
which is able to autonomously walk / climb / crawl up two
different kinds of mountain (stairs) stages. In the future the
competition will raise in complexity, when sprint stages on a flat
road, and more will be added.
Competitions
The competitions takes place at Galerie NTK, Wednesday
26 & Thursday 27 November 2014 from
5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Award ceremony for the winners
will start just after either The NXT Step / Mt. EV3
competition is finished. Single persons and teams can
participate.

NB: If there are more than 12 teams / single persons signed up for the competitions, the competitions will start earlier on Thursday 27th of November 2014 (More precisely info on the time schedule will be provided after 1 November).
Hospitality
Vive Les Robots! offer refreshments, like soda or water, plus
light snacks to the participants.
Organizer
Vive Les Robots! is the organizer.
NB!
The organizer will not be under any circumstances held liable
or responsible for any accidents of the participants or any damages
caused by the participants, their robots or their
equipment.
