CNR 2014: Exhibition: Pauline Baillon (FRA): Star Wars VII

Pauline Baillon is a young self-made 21 years old woman, who is working as a retoucher/photographer at a communication agency in the Northern part of France. She is newly-graduated from the art school ESA Saint-Luc Tournai in Belgium, where she studied advertising the past three years.

In her personal work, she is inspired of video games. In a graphic point of view, she sometimes works on her images much more to obtain 3D images.

What she likes most about her job is "to create what we cannot see, what is not existing".

Together with the copywriter Yannick Duvinage she won the "Les Chatons d'Or" contest in 2014, which rewards young creative people in advertising.

Star Wars VII
Pauline found her inspiration in the posters of the soviet propaganda to create her Star Wars posters. I made these posters in my bed watching movies, well watching of Star Wars ! If you do things better do it right !!!"

"The best gift someone could ever could give to me is to buy me a brain printer! Every day, I have tones of images rushing throw my mind and if I could keep them all, I would. However, if I had the brain printer, I will be very unhappy because my work, and before that my passion, will not have any reason to be!"
