CNR 2014: Exhibition: Robotic Ewe (GBR): The Day The Earth Stood Still, Laws of Robotics & Metropolis
The Day The Earth Stood
Still
This is a recreation of the 1951 movie poster, it is made from the
entire shooting script. 26,812 words in Showcard Gothic font,
individually coloured and placed.
Laws of Robotics
A robot toy created from Isaac Asimov's three laws of robotics. A
robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a
human being to come to harm. A robot must obey the orders given to
it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with
the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as
such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Metropolis
Is a stylized retake on the original.
